Live Fish Shipping

  • Fish are shipped USPS 2-3 Priority Mail, UPS or Fedex Express
  • Fish are usually individually bagged in bags filled with pure oxygen or breather bags. Do not float the breather bags!

Shipping Schedule

  • Live fish orders are shipped on Mondays
  • Any orders containing dry goods only will be shipped in 1-2 business days. If your order includes both live fish and dry goods, the dry goods will be shipped separate.
  • Cut off date for fish to be shipped is the Saturday 9 pm EST prior to shipping days. If your order is placed after the cut off time, it will be shipped the following Monday

  • We only ship to the Continental United States
  • Packages are shipped to the address provided. We are not responsible if the customer enters an incorrect address
  • We reserve the right to delay shipping due to extreme weather or holidays

  • We guarantee live arrival guaranteed on orders through USPS Priority Mail as long as they are delivered within the 2-3 days. COVID has caused delays in the post office, so please consider that before choosing this shipping method. By purchasing, you are agreeing to this policy. 

UPS 1st or 2nd Day Air, or FedEx Express Mail

  • We guarantee live arrival on orders through UPS 1st or 2nd Day Air and FedEx Express Mail as long as they are received during the first delivery attempt and delivered within 3 days.

DOA

  • In the case of DOA, send two clear photos of the dead fish in the original unopened packaging within 2 hours of the first delivery attempt
  • Please make sure someone is home to receive your fish. Leaving fish outside longer than 2 hours will void the live arrival guarantee
  • DOA only applies to fish purchased, not extras

Refunds

  • Refunds will be given per fish that is lost
  • Sorry, shipping is non refundable
  • Refunds will not be given to orders that are delayed in the mail and exceed the 96 hour heat packs. If you do not like this policy, look into the express shipping option
